The PhD in Comparative, Political and Social History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona seeks to offer a full preparation for students to carry out complex, original and innovative research situated in current fields of historical reference both nationally and internationally.

The knowledge acquired by the PhDs must be accredited through the production of a doctoral thesis which demonstrated their mastery of the most advanced techniques in searches of sources, their use and interpretation.
