- Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Arts, Humanities, or Social Sciences preferred; related national or international degrees considered
- B1 level in Catalan and/or Spanish required for foreign applicants
- B1 level in another programme language (e.g. English or French) required
- Endorsement from a PhD programme supervisor required
- Entry qualification evaluated (0–2 points) based on relevance of master’s degree
- Bachelor’s academic record assessed (up to 4 points)
- Master’s academic record evaluated (up to 4 points)
- Motivation letter, research proposal, and recommendation letter assessed (up to 2 points)
- CV evaluated for research experience, work experience, publications, and grants (up to 4 points)
- Previous or applied doctoral funding considered (up to 3 points for obtained, 1 point for applied)
- Additional academic merits (mobility, languages) assessed (up to 1 point)
