- Degree in sociology or related social sciences (e.g. political science, anthropology, economics), with sufficient sociology coursework
- Master’s degree with at least 12 ECTS in research or methodology, including 6 ECTS for a master’s dissertation
- Thesis topic must align with programme research lines
- Endorsement from a programme supervisor required
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level required
- Alignment of thesis proposal with research lines assessed (up to 8 points)
- Research funding or grants considered (up to 5 points)
- Academic record evaluated (up to 4 points)
- CV assessing research activities and experience evaluated (up to 3 points)
- Personal interview may be conducted if required
