About

The DPhil in Computer Science at University of Oxford is an advanced research degree, awarded for significant (new) contribution to the existing body of knowledge in the field of computer science. 

Overview

You will work with world-class experts in their field. The DPhil normally takes three to four years of full-time study to complete.

  • a first-class or a strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honours in a four-year undergraduate degree (to the level of a master's degree) in a relevant subject, or 
  • a first-class or a strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honours in a three-year BSc/BA degree and a master's degree with merit or distinction in a relevant subject.
