Overview
About the program
The research groups in this Molecular Biosciences program at the University of Geneva address a wide range of topics about organization, dynamics and function of biological systems. For example, cellular traffic, signaling, gene expression, plant biology and developmental biology are among the topics studied in the different laboratories of the program.
Programme Structure
Research groups include:
- Structural studies of cytokine-mediated signal transduction
- Signaling by cell-cell junctions
- Oncogene-induced DNA replication stress
- Nucleosome organization and chromatin function
- Patterning of the vertebrate skin through mechanical and Turing instabilities
- Mechanisms of cell signaling in plants
- Molecular and cellular basis of regeneration and slow aging
- Physical principles of vertebrate regeneration
