General requirements
- Given the multidisciplinary nature of the scientific field of the doctoral programme in Mechanical Engineering, Fluids and Aeronautics, there are a wide range of degrees that qualify applicants for admission. The most suitable entrance qualifications are pre-EHEA technical and science degrees and bachelor’s degrees in scientific and technological fields. Applicants should also have completed a master's degree (or 60 ECTS master's degree credits) in an area related to the scientific field of the programme
- In addition to having suitable academic qualifications, it is considered important that applicants have certain personal characteristics – namely, an interest in the research projects carried out within the framework of the programme; critical thinking and analytical skills; initiative, perseverance and persistence in their academic work; the ability to work in a team; and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
