Overview
Features
The emphasis of the Technical Computer Science programme at the Jagiellonian University is to combine strong foundational works on methods in computer science with practical tool prototypes in specific domains. Thanks to the collaboration within the Jagiellonian Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences we explores challenges as well applications from the wide area of technical, exact and natural sciences.
This offers a unique scientific environment stimulating multidisciplinary approach to research in computer science. Recent examples of such projects include machine learning for neuroscience and computational chemistry, explainable artificial intelligence, human-centred computing, and novel hardware acceleration architectures.
