Overview
Mathematics is both a classical science and a modern dynamic field of study. Analysis and algebra form the foundation of the mathematical language and the mathematical tools that are essential for studies in natural sciences and engineering. However, mathematics also plays a significant and expanding role in economic research and the modelling of social science phenomena.
