About the program
The Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Electrical and Computer Engineering (OCIECE) combines the research strengths of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of Ottawa and the departments of Electronics and of Systems and Computer Engineering at Carleton University.

To be eligible, candidates must:
- Have a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering or in a related discipline (or equivalent) with a minimum average of A-.
- Identify at least one professor who is willing to supervise your research and thesis.
