About the program
Our Biology (Saint John) graduates are well prepared for careers as researchers, program co-ordinators, research managers, consultants, data analysts and policy advisors in universities, governments, industry and environmental organizations; many become professors at universities.
The University of New Brunswick has close collaboration with several research centres: Canadian Rivers Institute, Huntsman Marine Science Centre, and the New Brunswick Museum.

General requirements
- Students must contact faculty prior to applying to secure research supervision.
- MSc applicants should hold a B.Sc., PhD applicants should have a M.Sc.; with a minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 (B average).
- Applicants are required to submit a complete application, including three references and a one-page statement describing their research interests and name of supervisor.
- International Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to submit language scores.
