What makes a progressive sense of place? Who and what, exactly, are cities open to in the present political conjuncture? These are the kind of questions motivating this Cities, Politics, Infrastructures research area at The Open University UK concerned with rethinking the many struggles, conflicts and coexistences shaping everyday urban life.
