Overview
About the programme
We are interested in developing and applying theoretical and computational tools to describe the multielectron dynamics of molecular systems.
Specifically, we study low energy electron and positron collisions with molecules as well as their photoionization and other photon-induced phenomena. We also develop the software employed to study these processes. This Computational Molecular Physics research programme is offered at The Open University UK.
Programme Structure
Potential research projects:- Electron induced molecular fragmentation by dissociative electron attachment
- Environment assisted/enhanced electron-induced processes
- Multiphoton and strong-filed ionization of small molecules
