About the programme
The Management course from at Cardiff Metropolitan University is contributing to regional regeneration and economic growth through its teaching, enterprise work and applied research.

Programme Structure
Research groups include:
The Welsh Centre for Tourism Research (WCTR):
- The WCTR is focused on the delivery of policy-informing research related to a diverse range of research interests under the broad tourism, hospitality and events banner.
Value Flow Centre (VFC):
- The VFC focuses on applied research around Contemporary Operations Management Paradigms (COMPS) - Supply Chain and Procurement systems development.
Creative Leadership and Enterprise Centre (CLEC):
- CLEC undertakes research around entrepreneurship and management skills, innovation and economic development, and related policy related issues.

General requirements
- Candidates applying for research study towards a doctoral award should normally have an upper second class honours (2:1) undergraduate degree or better from a recognised higher education institution or a postgraduate degree or a qualification deemed by the university to be equivalent to this level.
- Depending on your prior research experience it is usual for you to be initially enrolled onto an MRes/PhD or MPhil/PhD.
