General requirements
Regardless of gender, age, religion, or nationality, individuals eligible for selection in the University of Macerata's Global Studies, Justice, Rights, and Politics doctoral program include those holding a Laurea (in compliance with Italian laws prior to Ministerial Decree No. 509/99) or a Laurea Specialistica/Magistrale/a ciclo unico. Additionally, candidates with a second-level degree from an AFAM (Alta Formazione Artistica e Musicale) institution are eligible. Alternatively, applicants possessing an equivalent non-Italian qualification (Master’s Degree) from a foreign university may participate, subject to judgment of eligibility by the Selection Board.
