The Biology Department, in partnership with private and public institutions in the Rome area, have formed a Program that crosses traditional disciplinary boundaries to offer the student the appropriate interdisciplinary research training and to enrich the plurality of knowledge.

Features

The main goal of the Evolutionary Biology and Ecology program at Tor Vergata University of Rome consists in enabling students to become independent, creative, and productive researchers, by cultivating their skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

Specialized courses are programmed as well as ad hoc seminars in research management, research & funding systems, exploitation of research results and intellectual property.

General requirements

The call is open to all applicants with a second level degree obtained in Italy or abroad.

The PhD Board will have to establish whether the degree awarded abroad could be considered equivalent to an Italian degree or not, through a specific assessment limited to the PhD call purposes.

The PhD description pages form an integral part of the call and duly provide the requirements for the admission along with the expected dates of the exams.

Any changes to the dates will be available in each single PhD description page with a 15 days’ notice.
