Overview
During the doctoral Normal and Pathological Physiology study at Comenius University Bratislava, the students acquires knowledge in the field of physiology, pathological physiology, biochemistry of behavioral manifestations and examination methods from several preclinical and clinical areas, which contribute to clarifying the functional status of individual tissue and organ systems.
Career opportunities
Graduates of the presented doctoral study program are currently in demand mainly at the workplaces of the Ministry of Health, such as the department of internal medicine and pediatrics, neurology, cardiology, psychiatry and psychology, and clinical pharmacology.
Graduates of doctoral studies can work within the Ministry of Education as university teachers or researchers at universities with a focus on medicine, health sciences, public health, such as physiology, pathophysiology, pathological anatomy, biochemistry, pharmacology, genetics and biology.
