Overview
This multidisciplinary Biomedical Engineering training programme at Gdansk University of Technology poses the possibility to develop the individual interests of a PhD student and maximum use of the research infrastructure (modern and well-equipped laboratories) of GUT as well as the intellectual potential of teaching and research staff.

The graduates will gain extensive knowledge and skills in the field of broadly understood biomedical engineering.
They will have qualifications enabling them to work in scientific units or industrial plants dealing with the design, construction and use of modern medical devices, new diagnostic techniques or obtaining new biomaterials and chemicals with a wide range of biological activity, including therapeutic agents.

General requirements
- If you are a graduate of a master degree program (master level of studies) and have a master's degree, you can participate in the admissions to our school.
- If you are finishing your master's degree (you are in the last semester), but have not yet defended your thesis, you can also apply.
Required:
- confirmation of payment of the application fee
- a copy of the diploma or diplomas of higher education certifying candidate's educational background
- a diploma supplement or diplomas or a certified list of grades in the first- cycle and second-cycle or long-cycle master’s degree studies
- a statement of a prospective supervisor
- a document certifying knowledge of English at least at B2 level
- the candidate’s curriculum vitae (CV)
- one color photograph
- the enrolment form
Candidates also take part in an interview conducted in English.
