NUSRI students shall register with respective academic department in National University of Singapore and meet all requirements for admission, matriculation, progression and graduation set by the respective department and faculty.

- Typically, the students will spend the first year in NUS, subsequent two years in the respective NUSRI in China, and the final year of research work in NUS.

Curriculum:
- The students are required to complete faculties’ requirements of coursework, comprehensive qualifying examination, oral qualifying exam, seminars, PhD dissertation and the oral defence before being conferred the NUS PhD.

- GRE and TOEFL or IELTS are required if medium of instruction at university is not English.
Tuition Fee
Stipend per month for 4 years: S$2,200 + NUSRI support allowance + S$2,700 + Tuition Fee Subsidies for 4 years.
