Overview
The topic will cover development of novel designs of piezoelectric actuators and motors which are focused on high accuracy orientation and driving of different loads like optical mirrors, lenses and filters as well as samples under high resolution microscopes and etc. Research activities will be focused on numerical and experimental investigations of piezoelectric actuators, indication of their mechanical and electro-mechanical characteristics as well as development, numerical and experimental confirmation of control and driving strategies considering that actuator/motor is composed from several bodies and is under affect of low and mid-frequency destabilization factors or actuator/motor target application environment is space environment or CubeSats.
Programme Structure
- Independent research under supervision;
- Courses for PhD students (approximately 30 ECTS credits);
- Participation in research networks, including placements at other, primarily foreign, research institutions;
