Overview
The Physics programme from Pavol Jozef Safárik University in Kosice can be completed in full-time or in external form as well. The aim of education within the doctoral study programme is to prepare graduates in the specializations of Theoretical Physics, Astrophysics or Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics, who have a wide range of expert knowledge, skills and competences corresponding to a level no. 8 of the National Qualifications Framework of the Slovak Republic. The graduate of this study programme will obtain a third-level university education in the field of study Physics, with a dominant orientation toward theoretical physics, astrophysics, or nuclear physics. Direct educational activities are primarily carried out during the first two years of study, while research activities are concentrated in the third and fourth years of study.Programme Structure
