Overview
A graduate of the Landscape and Garden Architecture programme from Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra knows the issues of settlement development and the risks associated with climate change, understands the complexity of water management in planning and creating an urban environment. He/she knows the methodology and means of scientific research in landscape and garden architecture. He/she is capable of analyzing and creatively influencing the use of the landscape in accordance with the social and ecological priorities of society.

For the purposes of analysis, evaluation and modeling in the landscape, he/she is able to use the means of GIS and CAD systems. He/she can creatively apply knowledge from the field of landscape architecture and other related branches of science to solve practical tasks in the field of sustainable use of the landscape and complex development of settlements. He/she proposes new approaches, methods and technologies for planning, projection, establishment and management of green infrastructure. He is able to present and confront his own knowledge, approaches or solutions in a critical environment of the scientific community. He is able to coordinate work in research or implementation teams, even at the international level.
