Overview

The student of the Roentgenology and Radiology research degree from Comenius University Bratislava will learn to independently formulate a scientific problem, formulate a scientific hypothesis, prepare and implement a scientific experiment, to use the potential of imaging methods in research, objectively to evaluate the results and their statistical analysis. The main goal of these activities will be theoretical as well as practical handling of diagnostic imaging methods and methods of interventional radiology.

Career opportunities

Graduates of the presented doctoral study programme are currently in demand mainly at the workplaces of the Ministry of Health, at all radiological diagnostic and interventional radiological workplaces, as well as at workplaces using hybrid imaging diagnostics (PET / CT, PET / MR). Graduates of doctoral studies can apply in the frame of education as university teachers or researchers at universities with a focus on medicine, health sciences, public health and biology.
