The applicant must have an upper second-class honours degree in a relevant subject or an equivalent qualification, and either have completed or be completing a master's qualification from a UK university (or equivalent). At Master's level we expect a Merit as a minimum, with a Distinction in the research component. In the majority of cases, an overall award of Distinction is desirable. Where the mark is not yet awarded, predicted marks will be assessed.
