Overview
The Endodontology degree offered by University of Glasgow combines clinical experience, interdisciplinary teaching, and research to support the management of complex endodontic cases.
Career prospects
The curriculum is aligned with the Endodontics Specialist Curriculum developed by the Endodontics Specialty Advisory Committee (SAC) and approved by the General Dental Council (GDC). Successful completion of this programme does not provide automatic eligibility to sit the Dental Specialty Fellowship Examination (DSFE) in Endodontics, however, it will support an application to sit DSFE. Candidates must meet all DSFE entry requirements.
Successful completion of the DClinDent Endodontology or the DSFE does not imply eligibility for entry on the GDC specialist list or eligibility for a specialist role within the UK.
