General requirements
- Eligible for the Doctoral Program in Mechanical Engineering are students with a master’s degree in fields related to the area of Mechanical Engineering which are legally equivalent; also eligible are students holding a 5-year undergraduate degree prior to the entry in force of post-Bologna degrees in related scientific areas, albeit always subject to the scrutiny of the Steering Committee of the doctoral program and according to the rules established by the Internal Regulation of Doctoral Programs of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho.
- Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum recognized by the Scientific Council of the School of Engineering as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies may also be eligible, and have 30 % of ECTS.
