Student services

You will complete your enrolment at the ‘Direction des Etudes’ office (the Department of Academic Studies) when you arrive. You will then be provided with your student ID card (Aquipass card), enrolment certificate and Numerical working environment (ENT) access codes.

Housing services

During your studies at Bordeaux Sciences Agro, you may live on campus in one of our five student housing halls, like the majority of students.

You will have an exceptional living environment and access to many services.

You will also have nearby access to advantages that facilitate everyday life at school.

Library services

The Bordeaux Sciences Agro library is open to everyone (students, teachers, researchers and the general public). It is therefore possible for everyone to consult all of our resources.

Medical services

In France, health insurance (or ‘Sécurité Sociale’/social security as it is more commonly known) is mandatory for all students. You must pay up front for your healthcare, doctor visits and medication. Your expenses are then partially reimbursed by Social Security. The remainder of the expenses is your responsibility.

Campus life

At Bordeaux Sciences Agro, like most other universities in France, people from different countries who speak different languages study, live and socialize together.

Living with people from all over the world is a great experience and offers many new and exciting opportunities. We are looking forward to supporting you during your time in Bordeaux, and we will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Student clubs

We have many student associations, so you can be fully committed and active in your role as a student! There are associations related to culture, sports, humanitarian causes, as well as to your field of study. The available activities are varied and will help your integration process and allow you to discover new passions and talents!

Founded in 1962, it trains 600 students every year who follow Agronomy degree courses in their initial education as students or apprentices, or one of the six Master’s degrees co-accredited by universities in Bordeaux or by national partners, and in the specialised Master’s degree accredited by the ‘Conférence des Grandes Ecoles’.
