- Royal Roads University offers convenient on-campus housing for students while on short-term residency. Choose from a variety of private single and double rooms or dormitory-style suites with shared washrooms.
- Located in the heart of the Colwood campus, accommodations are located in the Millward and Nixon buildings. Residence lounges include fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, kettles and cutlery. The nearby Habitat Café offers a variety of meals for purchase seven days a week.
Library services
- The library, too, has all the resources you could possibly need to succeed, with 48,000 printed books, over 100 online databases and 55,000 e-books.

- The Royal Roads University campus sprawls over 260 hectares of lush parkland, where you will find walking, hiking, and biking trails, magnificent examples of the west coast’s flora and fauna, gorgeous views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca with the majestic Olympic mountain range in the background, a stunning Japanese garden, and a castle built for one of Vancouver Island’s most recognized coal barons.

Student clubs
- The Royal Roads University Student Association (RRUSA) is incorporated under the Society Act of British Columbia as the University's undergraduate student association.
- All registered undergraduate learners who have paid their student fees are members of the RRUSA, and may vote in elections and referendums, establish and join organizations under the control of RRUSA, nominate or be nominated for the Executive or Council, and stand for election or hold office.
- The RRUSA serves as a collective undergraduate voice, liaises with the University on a variety of issues, provides ongoing activities and events for learners, and administers the undergraduate extended healthcare plan.
