Housing services
Typically, students rent apartments, sharing them with their classmates or with incumbent students. To aid in the search process, there are multiple listings of inexpensive hostels if you need a place to stay while looking for accommodation. Similarly, there are also listings of rental agencies with English-speaking staff. Lastly, if you want to contact incumbent students or future classmates to ask for apartment availability, let us know and we will help you to get in touch with them.
Campus life
CEMFI is located at Calle Casado del Alisal, number 5. We are in a beautiful listed building dating from 1887 which is located in a quiet and attractive area in the centre of Madrid close to the Prado Museum.
It is surrounded by the Retiro Park and the Paseo del Prado, declared World Heritage Site in 2021. CEMFI is also close to the Banco de España, whose extensive library, specialized in economics, can be used by our faculty and students. We also have space with work areas in the adjacent building (Casado del Alisal, number 7).
