About

History

TCU began as a family endeavor an enriching place of spirited belonging for men and women of character to acquire a liberal arts education and strive to serve the greater good.Nearly 150 years later, we are still that place.

Education

This is a place where students learn how to adapt to whatever the future might bring, develop critical thinking skills and forge new paths. With a choice of rigorous academic programs in 130 undergraduate areas of study, 58 master’s level programs and 25 areas of doctoral study, Horned Frogs are primed for professional success and personal achievement after graduation.

Research

Research is yet another area disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic. On Friday, Aug. 7, the Office of Research hosted a virtual Happy Hour Faculty Chat, where Floyd Wormley Jr., associate provost for research and dean of graduate studies, and LeAnn Forsberg, director of sponsored programs, share research plans for fall. Spoiler alert: While there are still restrictions on travel and limitations on lab capacity, the Office of Research has put together a full slate of virtual career, professional and grant development programs for both faculty and graduate students.

Career

The 4 Year Career Success Plan will walk you through the crucial steps to take each year in order to develop the job-search and career decision-making strategies you will use at TCU and beyond.

Work with a consultant on all stages of your career development, from choosing a major to preparing for interviews they are here to help.
