Vistula University (VU; Polish Akademia Finansów i Biznesu Vistula) is a non-public academic higher education institution based in Warsaw, Poland. It was established in 1992 and has achieved its current status through dynamic development and cooperation with other non-public higher education institutions.

In December 2015, Vistula University signed a declaration of support for the “European Charter for Researchers” and the “Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers”. 

As the second step in the University’s preparation to apply for the title of HR Excellence in Research, a working group was created to conduct a gap analysis and develop an action plan at the beginning of July 2016. The working group developed two anonymous studies in which employees assessed the level of the University’s compliance with the requirements stipulated in the Charter and the Code.

We aim to strengthen the communication of our alumni with the universities, improving their life and career development, contributing to the development of our students with our alumni, ensuring the continuity of the Vistula University and Vistula School of Hospitality culture, and increasing our alumni’s solidarity.
