University Ranking
Student services
The Student Business Office is a division of Business and Financial Affairs at Western Washington University. The Student Business Office is responsible for the financial administration of all student billing related to tuition and fees, room and board, and for the processing of refunds as well as providing support and advice to students to aid in understanding their student account with the university.
Housing services
Apartment living for non-freshman is offered in Birnam Wood where 130 units accommodate 520 students. Most units are all male or all female, but a few units are gender inclusive. Each apartment is furnished for four students and includes two double-occupancy bedrooms, full kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, and balcony. Quarterly cost includes wireless Internet, digital cable, utilities, and use of the laundry facilities. Residents have access to the community building, front desk, computer lab, bike storage, and permit parking.
Library services
Western Libraries is committed to a culture of strategic planning rooted in rigorous assessment practices. We strive to make the collection and use of data a tool for decision making as well as the refinement and improvement of our internal processes through which we strive to align the Libraries’ activities and initiatives with the strategic goals of the university.
Medical services
The Student Health Center is excited to announce that it has implemented a new electronic medical record system (EMR) called Point and Click. Unlike many EMRs that focus on hospital or private practice clinics, Point and Click specializes in college health. Over 200 colleges and universities across the country already use Point and Click daily.
Campus life
Every residence hall is coeducational and most are open to students of all agesand class standings. Double occupancy rooms are the campus standard, but some hallsalso offer triples and a few singles. Each community has a front desk, laundry facilities,community kitchens, study areas, computer lab, TV lounge, piano, game room,
bike storage and limited permit parking. See page 7 for student apartments.

Sports facilities
The mission of the Sport Clubs program at Western Washington University is to promote individual leadership through group participation. Campus Recreation Services is committed to providing resources to campus community members as they strive to attain their goals both academically and through their sport club involvement.
Student clubs
An organization designed and run by Western students, the Associated Students (AS) seeks to ensure a fulfilling college and academic experience for all university students through the many services, facilities and programs it offers. Whether interested in testing your skills as a DJ for campus radio station KUGS, craving a weekend in the mountains on an Outdoor Center excursion, or just curious about getting involved in student government or one of our two hundred clubs, the AS has the resources to assist you.
