With more than 45 programs of undergraduate study, more than a dozen graduate programs, a 15:1 student to faculty ratio and an average class size of just 20 students, academics is the heart of the Roger Williams University experience. Our faculty maintain active research programs and are committed to providing opportunities for students to become involved in undergraduate research in Biology and Marine Biology. As an undergraduate institution without graduate programs in the sciences, all of our science facilities and equipment are available for use for student research.

The Center for Career & Professional Development prepares our students and alumni for life after college by helping individuals understand their personal and professional values and interests and acquire the skills necessary to obtain professional employment or admission into graduate school.
