ISEP trains engineers and researchers that meet the needs of industry. Its close relationship with the corporate world contributes largely to the school's life: ISEP faculty devote their energies to R/D projects, technology transfer and contracts established with industrial groups, computer service companies, universities laboratories, national and european administrations.

History

The Institut Supérieur d’Electronique de Paris, located in the heart of Paris, next to the “Quartier Latin”, was created in 1955, just where Edouard Branly, Teacher of Physics at the “Catholic University of Paris”(21 Rue d’Assas), discovered in 1890 the radio conductors which would lead to the invention of the French Television.

Education

ISEP welcomes a diverse range of international students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Research

The research laboratory of ISEP, the LISITE (Laboratoire d’Informatique, Signal et Image, Télécommunication et Electronique), is composed of 3 teams: MINARC (Micro and Nanoelectronics & Radio Communications), SITe (Signal, Image and Telecommunications) and RDI (Research and Development in Information sciences).

Good organisations and learning process, but lack of campus and student life (at least during covid).

Good Experience

-A big institution with multiple research centers and projects. -Unfortunately the lack of resources in the physics department leads to a lesser experience in the overall context.
