Boston, Massachusetts, United States
In a city full of colleges and universities, one school has been Boston’s best-kept secret for more than 65 years. In that time, Bay State College has built a reputation for offering a unique, high-quality curriculum for the serious student.

History

Bay State College opened in 1946 to serve a single industry, the airlines, by providing students with hands-on skills and paying particular attention to a strong educational foundation. Then as now, the College was known for its small classes, individual attention, and focus on specific careers.

Education

For the past 70 years, Bay State College has been guided by an enduring set of core values--Quality, Respect and Support. Over time, these values have brought us growth and success, and continue to do so today for our students.

Research

In our commitment to their academic and professional advancement, our students are given the opportunity to intern at some of the best companies in the nation, while networking with employers and alumni who can open doors to some of the Northeast’s best career opportunities.

Career

Bay State College's Career Services team works with students from the moment they step foot on campus.  They are available to help find you an internship, prepare for interviews, and eventually help you find a job once you graduate. Their guidance will even be available to you beyond your time here at Bay State.

Student services

The mission of The Office of Student Services is to provide services and programs to assist students in achieving their academic goals while helping to support and promote personal development and quality of life outside the classroom. Our Student Services are designed to help students feel comfortable at Bay State and hopefully get involved in the community.

Housing services

Located in the historic Back Bay section of Boston, Bay State's four residence halls are original, stately Victorian townhouses and brownstones. Set along a tree-lined promenade that is part of Boston's Emerald Necklace of connected parks, our residence halls offer a convenient and stimulating location to enhance your experience at Bay State College.

Library services

The Bay State College Library is committed to providing quality library services to all students and faculty. The Library provides information resources, study space, computers, and research instruction to support teaching and learning.

ICT services

The CTS Department provides the following electronic services to the Bay State College Community in accordance with the Bay State College Computer and Telecommunications Acceptable Use Policy. Please familiarize yourself with the Bay State College Computer and Telecommunications Acceptable Use Policy.

Medical services

Although Bay State College does not have an on-campus health center, we are located in an area which provides students with a variety of healthcare options. It is highly advisable that students contact their health insurance provider prior to arriving on campus to discuss which facilities are covered and select a primary care physician in the immediate area.

Campus life

Bay State's Department of Residence Life works to offer a positive living and learning environment in our residence halls to complement the academic mission of the College. To this end, staff members are visible, available, and approachable in order to assist students with personal growth opportunities and academic success. The focus of the staff is on creating a community within the hall where students feel a sense of belonging and community, in addition to providing a clean and safe environment.

Student clubs

You’ll quickly realize that not all of our learning happens inside the classroom at Bay State. We offer a host of clubs and organizations for you to choose from, so you can meet new people with similar interests or try something new. Whether your passion is dance, entertainment, community service, or writing, the opportunities to participate are limitless!

Accreditation

Bay State College is accredited by The New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.
