Student services

Our supportive community helps you develop crucial legal skills through rigorous coursework and hands-on experience.

Housing services

New England Law doesn’t offer on-campus housing, but our law students have many choices for housing within Boston and its suburbs. If you have been admitted and are ready to start your student life in Boston, our staff is always ready to help you to research neighborhoods, view apartments and rooms for rent, and find a roommate.

Library services

Our collection includes a large variety of legal research and reference materials, printed and electronic, that law students, lawyers, and legal academics use on a regular basis. Students find places in our collaboration rooms and quiet study spaces that suit their learning needs. They seek out the special collections on topics like academic support and women and the law.

Campus life

Boston just might be the perfect "college town." A renowned hub of higher learning, it's home to the highest proportion of young adults of any major US city.

Student clubs

  • By joining one of our many organizations, you can explore areas of special interest, while getting to know your fellow students, boosting your network, and giving back to the community.

  • The Art and Fashion Law Society introduces students to the legal aspects of the art and fashion industries, a developing practice area that intersects with intellectual property and business law, and in some cases, environmental, human rights, and Internet law.
  • The Criminal Law Society promotes social justice and equality, fosters relationships between criminal law practitioners and students aspiring to enter the field, and provides opportunities to effect change in the community.

Accreditation

The American Bar Association grants accreditation to Portia Law School (renamed New England School of Law)

University of the future

My experience at my university was great. There we learned how to work in a group and how to be a collaborator. Another advantage of this university is that we were not treated as students but as future colleagues.also the pedagogues were highly qualified which made the way of teaching more attractive
