History

Webster has an extraordinary history that reflects a commitment to serving people who may not otherwise have access to quality education.
Founded in 1915: in St. Louis, Missouri, by Sisters of Loretto, a Catholic religious organization, Webster College (originally named Loretto College) was one of the first Catholic women's colleges west of the Mississippi River.

Student services

The Dean of Students Office is comprised of Student Affairs professionals who assist students, faculty, staff and campus administration with questions or concerns pertaining to relevant policies and procedures and help identify the appropriate campus resources to help resolve student problems.

Campus life

Minutes from downtown St. Louis, Missouri, The Webster University home campus is nestled in Webster Groves, a charming and historic residential suburb. Webster's commitment to small class sizes and abundance of events throughout the year, students have the opportunity to share in a rich educational experience.
State-of-the-art academic buildings, architecturally significant structures that house various university departments, a modern library, and student center combine to create a picturesque learning environment.

Sports facilities

Since it's grand opening in 1992 Grant Gymnasium has served as the home for Gorlok Athletics. The facility holds games for Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, and Volleyball along with numerous other Athletic Department events and student activities.

Student clubs

The Office of Student Engagement oversees four main areas of student advocacy and programming on the Webster University Main campus.
