Our overall theme is called Data Innovation and Data Entrepreneurship. It entails the fundamental question on how to create societal and economic value with data. Here we aim to understand in which areas of the data value chain value is destroyed or created. Does the potential value of data science reside in the uniqueness of the data, in the algorithms applied to the data, in the visualization and the services created, or in the uniqueness of a business model?
