Lincoln University Pennsylvania

Lincoln University was founded in 1854 as the nation's first degree-granting Historically Black College and University, or HBCU. Originally chartered as Ashmun Institute, it was re-named Lincoln University in 1866 in honor of President Abraham Lincoln.

As a global institution,  Lincoln University has an expert workforce that offers progressive and comprehensive programs marked by effective support systems and sound fiscal practices.  The University combines the elements of a liberal arts and science-based undergraduate core curriculum with selected graduate programs. The institution is a place where people come willingly to learn, teach, work and visit.

In advancing our vision for empowerment and accountability to our valued stakeholders, ORSP will play the engaging role of a service-oriented unit that provides catalytic, confident, competent, and caring leadership to the Lincoln University of Pennsylvania community in the institutionalization of our status as an emerging research institution.  As an “office of opportunities,” ORSP will develop, promote, and continually support a campus culture of active sponsored research engagement that will build and implement sound institutional capacity for competitive advantage in national and international extramural funding sources. 

The Office of Career Services receives multiple notices daily of new job openings, internships, and scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate students.  Career Services is now using College Central Network (CCN) as its official job resource and resume system.  All students have been pre-registered to use our CCN services through your Student Identification Number (SIN).
