Monroe College

Named for U.S. President James Monroe, the “Monroe School of Business” opens in 1933 under the guidance of teacher Mildred King with just four small classrooms and seven students in the West Farms section of the Bronx.

Monroe works with you to jumpstart your career from day one. The practical skills you learn, your internships, the relationships you build with employers in your field — they’re all focused on your future.

The institutional research arm of the office of Institutional Planning, Effectiveness, and Budget (IPEB) is responsible for providing data and information for administrative decision making.  It collects and analyzes data and information, and reports the findings to College administration and others associated with the institution.  It also provides data for external compliance reporting.  Analysis of institutional research centers on information about students, faculty, courses, and programs.

Institutional research is also available to assist other College offices with gathering and structuring data and reports. I
