With Homestay Accommodation you will be allocated a host family who will welcome you into their home like a member of their family.

• Residential Accommodation

The Dwelling is a five minute walk from the main Blackburn College campus and consists of 18 study bedrooms which include a choice of single or double bedrooms, en-suite rooms and Pods (which are self-contained flats) and they include a desk and wardrobe and chest of drawers.

• Private Home Accommodation

Blackburn College work in partnership with BGSA Ltd to provide a complex of 1 and 2 double bedroomed apartments situated in the Cathedral Quarter area of the town.

Our libraries are vibrant and have been newly refurbished with state-of-the-art technology such as self-issue machines, VDI computers and 250 drop-in PCs and laptops, providing you with with all the software you’ll need to get ahead in your studies.

We have a substantial collection of learning resources including more than 55,000 books, a wealth of magazines, and DVDs.

Health & Medical Care

One of the first things you should do when you arrive in Britain is register with your local doctor (or GP as they are called in the UK). A GP is a General Practitioner who is able to help with illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening or you need medication and advice for a specific problem or complaint.
