History
JUNIA’s history began in 1885, within the Catholic University of Lille, with the foundation of HEI school of engineering. The foundation of ISEN school of electronics in 1956 and ISA school of life science in 1963 completed the ambition of the university: to train engineers able to accompany the industrial, technological, agricultural, and environmental evolutions of their time. Each in its own way, these schools paved the way: by prioritizing practice and proximity to companies, by anticipating digital revolutions, and by supporting the changes in agriculture and the agri-food sector. They forged a solid foundation, blending scientific rigor, openness to the world, and a sense of commitment.
