History
Kutaisi International University Campus is located in the city of Kutaisi. Kutaisi International University (KIU) has opened its doors to the first cohort of students in 2020. The goal of the university is to gradually become an international hub of education, science and technology in the region. As a result, Georgia will take the lead on international educational and scientific arena.
Education
The programs have been developed in partnership with TUM and TUM International and are of international quality and rigor.The programs are delivered by both Georgian and international faculty. The programs have been vetted by an International Advisory Board consisting of prominent and leading scholars and professors from different countries of the world.
Research
KIU is aiming to become an international research and education hub in the region. The research strategy of KIU includes development of the state-of-the-art facilities and modern research infrastructure. Research facilities and labs will be organized to support development of the Masters, Doctoral, and Post-doctoral programs at KIU through attracting scientists and leading experts in the respective fields.

Campus life
KIU campus is located in the city of Kutaisi, the third largest city in Georgia and spread out on a beautiful 160 hectares of land in an environmentally clean forest with a river running through it. KIU has opened its doors to the first cohort of students in the fall of 2020 and offers dormitories and housing for its students and staff on campus alongside with all the necessary amenities for study, research, and rich student life.
