History
Founded in 1872, Sciences Po is France’s leading university for the social sciences. Sciences Po offers degrees at the undergraduate, Master’s and Ph.D. levels. Its mission is to educate open-minded individuals who can understand the world and who will have a profound impact upon it.
Education
At Sciences Po, students complete both fundamental academic courses in social sciences such as economics, history, law, political science, and sociology, as well as a range of professional courses. As a result of this academic and professional mix, 80% of Sciences Po graduates are hired within six months of graduation.

Sciences Po's Student Services Center offers information in relation to everyday administrative formalities, for example opening a bank account, accessing public transport, information on the social coverage system and the healthcare system, help with applying for housing benefit with the French governmental agency CAF or information and help for finding a student job.

In order to assist you in your search for housing and guide you towards solutions adapted to your needs, Sciences Po has developed numerous partnerships with student residences, offers an online platform enabling apartment owners to post rental offers as well as numerous resources, assistance and advice.

Medical services
The Sciences Po Health Centre operates on all the campuses, with a team comprising general practitioners, nurses, psychologists and psychiatrists. It is available to the university community to:
- Receive, inform, advise and, where necessary, refer
- Administer certain routine medical services, on prescription or in an emergency
- Schedule medical appointments on site

Sports facilities
Each semester, students at Sciences Po have the opportunity to sign up for one or more sports activities, organised by Sciences Po, the Sports Clubs (Associations sportives) or external partners, depending on the campus.
