Originally established to promote higher education across the Portuguese-speaking world (Lusophony), it is now Portugal's largest private university with campuses in Lisbon and Porto.

I�ve met people from all over, and the facilities for my classes are generally good, especially for anything media-related. On the downside, the administration can be really slow and disorganised at times, and some courses feel less structured than I�d like, but I still feel I�m getting decent value and a memorable student life out of it.
Lus�fona has been a pretty balanced experience for me so far: not perfect, but better than I expected in some ways. I really like the atmosphere on campus and the fact that there are so many international students around, which makes everyday life feel quite dynamic.
Even though this is a private school, and courses are really expensive, the classes and campus life is overall a very good experience that if you can take advantage of in the right way, you will most definitely have a bright future. Only problem is that maybe because of how expensive it is, not everyone will be able to do so and end up quitting, and unfortunately this is really normal in this university! Take my experience for example, to afford to go to this university i had to work and i was missing most of my classes, couldn't sleep right and overall i wasn't doing my best. And even though, its a private school, sometimes you almost feel like the teachers actually didn't pass you, on purpose, so you'd pay to repeat the exam and the class. But if money isn't a problem for you, this is a really good university i would definitely recommend because you learn how to work in real life and give every skill you need for real life! I did quit but it wasn't an easy choice, i really loved what i was studying but i wasn't able to enjoy it enough! Hope this helps anyone in doubt!
