Housing services
BI is proud to offer a housing guarantee for international students. In cooperation with the housing providers, international students can choose from several different housing locations.
Student housing is generally the most affordable accommodation you will find in Norway, and also one of the best ways to meet new people and quickly build your social network.
The majority of the rooms offered in student residences are furnished, but you are not guaranteed a furnished room unless you are an exchange student staying in Norway for less than one year.
In shared accommodation, roommates are not assigned by gender, so your roommates may not be the same gender as you.
Library services
The library services available at BI Norwegian Business School include the main library in Oslo, the libraries at Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger campuses, as well as the digital library, which is always open!

Campus life
Natural light and open spaces give the BI campuses the sensation of a small village; a place where everybody can feel at home. However you prefer to study, there is a place for you.
In Oslo, the building is covered by a glass ceiling and comprises four blocks on seven levels. The open and transparent campus building exposes the activities in the building to the surrounding streets and public spaces. The open terraces, galleries, small nooks and quiet areas thave been created as special meeting places and to add life to the building.
Our modern campus in Bergen is located near industry clusters and boasts its own beach. Enjoy studying while gazing at the harbour right outside your classroom window.
Sports facilities
In Oslo, the Athletica Nydalen gym is located right in the campus building. This gym, operated by SiO, has a wide range of facilities and services, including personal train and group sessions.
Student clubs
BISO represents students at all our campuses. And there are many student associations ranging from professional associations to sports to social activities. The newly formed BIISA association represents international students at BI.

Satisfied
My university experience has been a transformative journey both academically and personally. Studying organizational psychology, human resource management, and leadership provided me with a strong theoretical foundation in understanding how people, strategy, and organizational structures interact. I developed a particular interest in how leadership and organizational culture influence performance, innovation, and long-term sustainability. Throughout my studies, I engaged deeply with research-based frameworks and analytical methods, which strengthened my critical thinking and academic writing skills. Applying theory to real organizational cases allowed me to see the practical implications of strategic decision-making and human capital development. Group work in multicultural and diverse teams also improved my communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across perspectives. The program challenged me to grow in resilience, independence, and intellectual curiosity. It has prepared me well for further graduate studies in an international environment, where I hope to expand my strategic perspective and contribute to dynamic and globally oriented academic communities.
Organizational psychology, HR and management
I’m mostly very happy with my Bachelor in Organizational Psychology, HR and Management at BI Norwegian Business School. The programme has a good academic level, strong exchange opportunities and a clear link to working life. BI is also good at helping students build networks through courses, events and collaboration with companies, which I found really valuable. The student environment is another highlight. There are many active student groups, and the internal structure around the student organisations works well. It makes it easy to get involved and meet people with different interests. The campus feels open and welcoming for international students too, and exchange students are included quickly. If there is something I wish had been different, it’s that the bachelor could have focused a bit more on HR and management. A larger part of the programme ended up being strategy and analysis, which I did enjoy, but it wasn’t exactly what I expected based on the title. All in all, I would recommend this degree to anyone who wants a mix of psychology, leadership, business understanding and a solid student experience.
