History
The Catholic University of Paris is a not-for-profit organisation according to the law of 1901, of recognised common public interest. Under the joint authority of the Holy See (Congregation for Catholic Education) and the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, it issues state diplomas (degree, masters and PhD), canonical diplomas and its own diplomas.
Education
Catholic University of Paris comprises 21 organisations: 6 faculties, 4 specialised institutes, 11 graduate schools, and 1 doctoral school with 20 research centres. In addition, CUP houses the Catholic University of Paris Seminary, which prepares its seminarians for ordination and priesthood.
Research
The Catholic University of Paris has major research centers and teams in disciplines as varied as philosophy, theology, canon law, humanities, economic and social sciences and educational sciences. The Research and Doctoral Studies Service’s vocation is to promote research and provide high level training for doctoral students.

What did i really like about it and what can be improved? How would i summarise your overall study experience?I am proud with the fact that I have guided my team to get promoted and develop their skills. One of my team members recently got promoted to be an application engineer, and I have to fight for him because my manager who promised him the promotion after he finished his education resigned. Back then, my integrity was at stake and I don’t want to lose a great employee. Now, he’s one of the top application engineer in the company and I think he can take over my role, which is one of the reason why I’m looking for a job now.
A year at CUP
The History and Political Science degree at ICP offers a rich and interdisciplinary program combining historical analysis with political theory. Students gain strong critical thinking, research, and communication skills. The courses are intellectually stimulating, taught by passionate professors, and prepare graduates for careers in public affairs, journalism, or academia.

La vie académique à Kin = discipline personnelle,
J’ai effectué mon parcours académique à Kinshasa, d’abord au lycée, puis à l’université. Ces établissements m’ont permis d’acquérir des bases solides, aussi bien sur le plan théorique que pratique. Le corps enseignant est engagé et joue un rôle important dans l’encadrement et la formation des étudiants, malgré des moyens parfois limités. La vie académique à Kinshasa demande beaucoup de discipline personnelle, de résilience et d’autonomie. Cette réalité m’a permis de développer un fort sens de responsabilité, de l’adaptation et une réelle motivation pour l’excellence académique. Mon lycée m’a donné les fondations nécessaires pour poursuivre des études universitaires exigeantes, et l’université a renforcé mon esprit critique, mon intérêt pour la recherche et mon projet professionnel. Je considère que mon parcours à Kinshasa constitue une expérience formatrice, qui m’a préparé à évoluer dans un environnement académique international et multiculturel.
