The history of Donetsk National university accounts for 75 years. It has developed from a small pedagogical institute, which consisted of two faculties and 138 students, to modern large ramified educational-scientific complex, one of the greatest in Ukraine, which currently provides education to nearly 18 thousand students.
It offers undergraduate programs leading to bachelor’s degrees as well as graduate education leading to master’s degrees in 53 specialties. Postgraduate Studies department provides training of scientists in 63 specialties.
Department for the assistance of job placement to students and graduates
Our department was created for the purpose of assistance of job placement to students and graduates of out university.
The main aim of the department is to carry on vocational guidance work among students, to organize trainings on employments and labor relations issues, to assist and ensure the first workplace for out graduates.

The university does not provide practical knowledge, I need to study many additional courses
My experience at Donetsk National medical university was very chaotic, lot of school issues impacted me in studying medicine in a peaceful manner. The university structure is completely gone, i have been doing online classes since 2020, for a course like Medicine. It is unacceptable.
Starting study in Ukraine 2019 January and good clinical lessons study until end of last March war start at this time finish 4th years of study dentistry, clinically experience very good need to finish my last year for study dentistry.
