Description

Two positions for pre-doctoral contracts are opened. The contracts will have a maximum duration of 48 months (with biannual reviews). Research proposals must fit with the research lines offered:

- Continuous improvement in human resources

- Finance and commodity markets

- Digital Economy

- Circular economy and energy

- Banking regulation

- Spirituality, human–animal relations, and social change

The doctoral candidates will be located in Madrid but will be encouraged to move for a research stay at associate universities that are part of the program.

Tasks: 

Job duties fundamentally research-based and be related to your training

Carry out some support activities related to research and education (organisation of conferences, seminars and workshops, edition of publications, exam supervision, etc.).

Eligibility

To be admitted to an official PhD program, according to the Royal Decree 576/2023, a candidate should:

  • To hold official Spanish university degrees or equivalent Spanish qualifications, provided that at least 300 ECTS credits have been completed in total, and that Level 3 of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education can be accredited.
  • Or to hold a degree obtained under a foreign education system that belongs to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), without the need for homologation, which accredits Level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework, provided that the degree qualifies the holder for access to doctoral studies in the country where it was issued. This admission shall not, under any circumstances, imply the homologation of the holder’s previous degree or its recognition for purposes other than access to doctoral studies.
  • Or to hold a degree obtained under a foreign education system outside the EHEA, without the need for homologation, once the university has verified that the degree accredits a level of training equivalent to that of the official Spanish university Master’s degree and qualifies the holder for access to doctoral studies in the country where it was issued. This admission shall not, under any circumstances, imply the homologation of the holder’s previous degree or its recognition for purposes other than access to doctoral studies.
  • Or to hold another Doctoral degree.
