Research Opportunity
This is a scientific discipline that deals with the relationships between organisms and the environment with an emphasis on biological processes and consequences of environmental changes on the structure and functioning of ecosystems, their subsystems and components (individuals, populations, communities), including their mutual interactions and energy flow processes, cycles of substances in ecosystems and their evolution.
The research activities are based on the broad professional potential of the department and translate into the autecology, demecological and synecological levels.
