Overview
The Environmental Earth Sciences programme offered by Czech University of Life Sciences Prague explores how natural processes operate within the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and terrestrial environments, with attention to environmental change and its impacts.
Key Facts
Students engage with core specializations including environmental modelling, environmental geosciences, and spatial sciences. Research covers topics such as hydrological and atmospheric processes, soil and geochemical analysis, and the use of spatial data from remote sensing and geographic information technologies to study landscapes and environmental dynamics.
The programme emphasizes the application of quantitative, statistical, and geospatial methods to investigate environmental phenomena, including climate-related changes, geohazards, and ecosystem processes. Through interdisciplinary research and supervised study, students develop capabilities to assess environmental systems and contribute to scientific and applied solutions.
